use the handbrake after selecting a stage to start

you need to press the exit and save button for the game to actually save

keyboard controls

W to gas and S  and to brake

left shift to clutch

Q to gear down and E to gear up

Space to engage the handbrake

Esc brings up settings

Controller controls

Left Trigger is brake and Right Trigger is gas

Left Bumper to gear down and Right Bumper to gear up

Circle or B  to engage the handbrake (same on steering wheel)

Start brings up settings
